Day 1 – Arrival in Arusha City

Upon arrival in Arusha, our friendly Jambo Masai Tours team will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. After check-in, take time to relax and recover from your journey as you prepare for the adventures ahead.

Day 2 – Arusha to Mount Kilimanjaro (Day Hike)

Begin your day early with an energizing trek on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. You’ll journey through lush rainforest and scenic alpine meadows, encountering diverse flora, fauna, and panoramic views. This enjoyable hike offers a perfect taste of Africa’s highest peak without the demands of a full summit climb.

Day 3 – Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, stop briefly in Arusha for supplies before heading to Tarangire National Park for a full game drive. Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by wildlife. Tarangire is known for its vast elephant herds, majestic baobabs, and its seasonal migration of zebras, wildebeest, and other animals.

In the evening, unwind at Suricata Boma Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4 – Serengeti National Park (Central Serengeti)

Travel through the lush highlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area before descending into the world-famous Serengeti plains. Arrive for lunch, then head into the Seronera region for an afternoon game drive. With its year-round water sources, Seronera is one of the best areas to spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and more.

Settle in at Matawi Serengeti Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 – Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater Rim

After a relaxed morning and early lunch, continue your journey toward Ngorongoro Crater. Along the way, enjoy stunning landscapes and possible wildlife sightings as your guide shares insights about Tanzania’s ecosystems. Spend the night on the crater rim with breathtaking views.

Day 6 – Ngorongoro Crater (Full Game Drive)

Descend more than 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, a natural sanctuary brimming with wildlife. Spot zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, elephants, and the rare black rhino. The crater boasts one of Africa’s densest predator populations, including lions, hyenas, and the occasional cheetah or leopard. Visit Lake Magadi, home to flamingos and hippos.

After your game drive, return to Suricata Boma Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7 – Ngorongoro to Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, head to Lake Manyara National Park for a full-day game drive with a packed lunch. Expect to exit the park around late afternoon and proceed to Arusha for your overnight stay.

Day 8 – Materuni Waterfalls & Coffee Tour / Departure

After lunch, your guide will transfer you either to the airport or back to Arusha, depending on your schedule.
