Day 1: Tarangire National Park

Depending on your location in Zanzibar, your driver will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport for your morning flight. You’ll arrive in Arusha at 9:20 am, where your professional safari guide will greet you and brief you about the journey ahead.

After the briefing, begin a scenic 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy sweeping views of grassland plains dotted with ancient baobab trees, traditional Maasai homesteads, and herds of livestock moving with nomadic communities.

Tarangire is famous for its dramatic landscapes, massive baobabs, tree-climbing pythons, and Africa’s largest concentration of elephants. It also hosts lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, and countless other species.

After a picnic lunch, continue your game drive until late afternoon before heading to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2–3: Serengeti National Park (Camping)

After breakfast, depart for the legendary Serengeti National Park. Though the drive is long and occasionally bumpy, it offers incredible game viewing opportunities along the way. As you ascend the Ngorongoro Highlands, you’ll witness the vast Serengeti plains unfold before you.

A picnic lunch will be served en route before entering the park for a thrilling afternoon game drive. The southern and central plains are often teeming with wildlife, especially during calving and migration periods.

Continue exploring the Serengeti’s rich game areas before heading to your campsite in the evening.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater & Return to Zanzibar

After an early breakfast, depart Serengeti and proceed to Ngorongoro Crater, descending 600 meters into this natural wonder. The crater floor is home to nearly every species of East African wildlife, including the rare black rhino.

Enjoy your final game drive and lunch at a scenic hippo pool before ascending the crater and beginning your drive back to Arusha. From there, you will connect to your flight back to Zanzibar, marking the end of a spectacular journey.
